Ed Gray, OTR/L PTA, Certified LSVT BIG Professional is the driving force behind Avenue Therapy & Wellness. Ed’s education, experience and commitment to the community has benefited thousands of patients with sports injuries, back and neck pain, joint replacements and movement disorders from strokes, Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions. Ed lectures throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties.
Ed began his career at the Boca Neuroscience Center where he developed his passion and commitment to neurological rehabilitation. Ed continued to study at extra lengths to help patients with neurological conditions improve their function and independence through high intensity, repetitive movement exercises. Neurological Rehabilitation is a naturally developed passion for Ed. While all the needs for therapy are important, they were not challenging or fulfilling enough. Ed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Barry University and an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Lynn University. Ed holds other certifications in; Functional Orthopedics, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Myofacial Release, Seniors Strength Training and Bike Fitter.
Jodi Gray, PT, Certified LSVT BIG Professional is the rock behind Avenue Therapy & Wellness. Jodi began her career in Boston, Massachusetts with a specialty in Cardiac Rehab. She enjoyed both the exercise component and the ability to educate her patients on health and wellness. Jodi brought this passion with her to Florida where she also advanced her position as a therapist to administrator. Jodi’s career path led her to Home Health care which she did for many years prior to starting Avenue Therapy & Wellness with Ed. While providing home health care treatments, Jodi realized the importance of one on one care. She developed a working knowledge of the medical aspects of patient care, coordinating the physical therapy treatment with other disciplines including nursing, OT, ST and Social Work.
Jodi’s education, experience in evaluating and treating patients, administrative expertise and her love for treating the whole patient pushed Jodi to create Avenue Therapy & Wellness with Ed. Jodi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University.
Susan Levy, MS CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University and a Masters of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Her focus has been in the areas of voice and swallowing disorders since 1998. Susan has provided clinical services in acute care, private practice and home health settings. She holds many certifications including the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) for Parkinson’s patients, as well as advance studies at Northwestern University Hospital for both voice and swallowing disorders
Tom Cichock, PTA, Certified LSVT BIG Professional earned his Associate in Science Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Lynn University. Tom began his career as a Physical Fitness Trainer specializing in those with medical problems – both physical and mechanical. After 20 years in the gym, Tom was motivated to do more for the folks he trained. He went back to school, earned his degree and met Ed at the Boca Neuroscience Center. In addition to Florida, Tom is licensed in Montana – his favorite home away from home.
Each of our therapists has successfully treated patients at home, in physician’s offices, nursing homes, in pools as well as their own clinics. Our goals, whether Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy, are to improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain and prevent further injury in order to help you achieve independence in all areas of your life
Mariann and Cindy – Our Certified Front Desk Experts. Mariann and Cindy are available to schedule your appointments, answer your questions and advise you of our insurance policies.
